When Jeni first met Ray, she was sure she never wanted children.
Ray, on the other hand, dreamed of having at least four.
Three decades later, they became parents to 16 children — 9 boys and 7 girls. ❤️
Their life in Toowoomba, Australia, is anything but ordinary. They spend around $600 a week on groceries, go through nearly 50 litres of milk, and can use up to two loaves of bread a day.
With 16 kids, even taking a family photo is a challenge.
“You need an extra-wide lens,” Jeni jokes. 😂
The household runs on teamwork. Older children help with chores, younger ones learn to cook, and Jeni handles several loads of laundry every day.
Despite the chaos and financial pressure, Jeni and Ray say they have no regrets.
Their children are now growing up, some have families of their own, and the couple have become grandparents.
16 children may sound impossible to many people—but somehow, this family makes it work. ❤️
