A photograph of Zendaya and Tom Holland walking together once again sparked comments about the actor’s appearance. While they were both enjoying an ordinary moment, a user posted: “Zendaya could literally be with anyone… and she chose this. I’m still trying to understand what she saw”, racking up millions of views.
As expected, the comment immediately opened up the debate. Some agreed and questioned Tom’s physical attractiveness, while many others came to his defense and criticized the idea that Zendaya should choose a partner based on what other people consider attractive.
Zendaya and Tom met during Spider-Man: Homecoming and, after years of friendship and rumors, confirmed their relationship in 2021. Since then, they have tried to keep much of their romantic life away from the public eye.
Because no matter how much the internet analyzes a photograph looking for answers, Zendaya is probably the only one who knows exactly what she saw in Tom. And it seems she liked it quite a lot.
